We all know that there are a ton of shopping options in New York City, but did you know that New York is home to some of the most eclectic home good stores. Crawling with small businesses around every corner, the city is the best place to find "the perfect finishing touch" to your new apartment, long time home, and or office nook! Today I will be taking you through my top three places to hunt around, so whether you live in the city now or are planning your next trip, definitely hit these places up!

1. Abbode
This is definitely one of my favorite places for vintage home decor. And it is located in Soho- what better place to go shopping? The cozy shopping experience is very relational with the owner, Abagail, and her coworkers which is something I love- it is impossible to go in without getting into a conversation with someone! This store also has been doing a lot of collaborations with other small businesses and creators to create connections within the community. Each piece in the store is hand-selected by Abagail and organized by color on the shelves ( which is one of my favorite parts). Known for her engraved lighters and match set collection, Abbode is dedicated to curating as assortment that is destined to live in your space!
2. Coming Soon
Located at the intersection of Lower East Side and Chinatown, this shop is forever changing with new incoming work. This place is known for taking common home goods and adding a little bit of spice. The store owners have a background of fine art and high end design, so they know a thing or two about home goods and finding a unique look. This place also has an online site so even if you don't live in New York, you can still hunt around for some of their pieces! Here is the link!
3. Here Nor There
HNT was founded in 2020- a brave move for a small business, but with the help of TikTok this place has blown up. This shop works with independent brands such as Boys Lie, Dream of Jean, and Retrograde. A true small business, this place has unique candles, iconic tops, and so much more. Also, they have the cutest lil pup in their store! This place also has an online site so even if you don't live in New York, you can still hunt around for some of their pieces! Here is the link!
