5 Product Recommendations from Black Owned Beauty Brands

Black Lives Matter is not a fleeting trend, but a movement that should carry into our everyday lives. There are so many ways to encourage the longevity of this movement apart from educating yourself and having conversations with friends and family such as diversifying your shopping, music, and content you see in social media. In efforts to diversify my content on my blog, I wanted to show you all some Black Owned Beauty Brands we can support. In full transparency, I have not tried these products yet because they just haven't come back in the mail yet, but these are my recommendations based on what I have found on other outlets that I love such as Allure, Glamour, and WhoWhatWear!

I have been seeing these everywhere and have heard nothing but good things about them! The thing that I love about this product is that it will give you hydrated, de-puffed eyes without the harsh chemicals. It is gluten free, petroleum free, cruelty free and is made with ingredients such as Collagen, Hylaronic Acid, and Aloe! I am all about that under eye care and am so excited to try these masks!

Exfoliation is so so important for you skin and this Mesh Body Exfoliator makes it so easy to get every part of you cleaned up and ready to go. Just put your shower gel onto the 50" , 100% Nylon hand cut bath cloth and do your thing! This loofa alternative does not bred bacteria, giving it a longer life span while still having all of the benefits from exfoliating your body!

Everyone loves the scent of rose and this product is just the thing to feed into that obsession! Combining rose buds to the coconut oil base, this product is perfect for treating dry hair without the feeling of an oil residue. This is one of the most cost-effective product and it comes in the most beautiful glass packaging.

Another hair product coming up, this mask won Allure's 2020 Reader's Choice Award. Their website sites a clinical study proving a 75% reduction in damage when using their product compared to untreated hair. This cruelty free, paraben free and silicon free item is perfect for a weekly pick me up!

The thing I love about this masks is that it uses superfoods to give you a natural remedy to dull skin. The mission of this brand is to bring "good vibes" back to the wellness industry.  This powder to gel formula gives you an easy soothing way to reveal a glowing face.
