I am back with another book review and this was has been one of the most informative ones yet! Leave Your Mark: Land Your Dream Job, Kill it in Your Career, Rock Social Media was a book written with a real perspective and real advice for you to use. Aliza Licht acts a mentor guiding the reader through each step of reaching their career goals including application etiquette, what to do once you get the job, and how to use social media as a power for your personal brand. A global communication executive in fashion and former DKNY PR GIRL guides you through her story as she started from scratch and climbed the ladder. This book gives a sassy, unfiltered recap of her personal and professional growth, filled with lots of Devil Wears Prada moments and tips intended for you to take and run with. This is the perfect read for any post-grad who want to start or are starting your careers as a young professional. The content in this books is shown in a fashion and communications light, but I think the tips you find scattered throughout the book are just as valuable to anyone who is entering the workforces. It was an easy read and definitely a book I will refer back to in the future.
